VPN Stale Request

Summary

Follow the steps in this article if you're receiving a Stale Request message when connecting to the VPN.

Resolution

  • Start by clicking X to close the Stale Request dialog box.

  • Open Global Protect > Connect to re-launch.
    • This can be done by searching GlobalProtect in the Search Menu of your device.
Note: The SSO page will open in a new window.

  • Type in your UTD credentials (NetID and password).
  • Use your mouse to click on the Login button.

Important: Do not hit Enter on your keyboard device.

Hitting Enter after entering your NetID and password will result in the Stale Request error message.
