Firewall Exception Requests

This article explains the procedure for requesting a UTD firewall exception. ISO is in charge of reviewing and approving all the requests.

Procedure

The Information Security Office (ISO) reviews all firewall exceptions before implementation. Submission of an exception request does not guarantee an approved exception.

1. Navigate to the Firewall service.
2. Select the Request New Exception service offering.
3. Complete the form fields.
4. Click Submit.

ISO will review the request. If approved, the request will be forwarded to the networking team for implementation. Updates will be given at every step of the process.
