NAC BYOD Guest Sign-In

This article provides the instructions for those connecting their device to the wired network and authenticating with an external email address.

Instructions

• Open your browser of choice (Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc.) and navigate to "Log In to the Network" page.
• Click on Request access to initiate the Guest log in process.

• The Guest Registration will appear. Fill out the Full Name, Email Address, Phone, Contact Person Corporate Email and Confirm Contact Person Email.
  • Click Request Access to continue.

• Registered User will receive three separate emails regarding their registration.
  • Emails will have the following titles:
    • CounterACT Guest Verification Code
    • Network Access Approval
    • Guest Management Portal: Approval Notice

• Go back to the Registration page on your browser. 
• Use the CounterACT Guest Verification Code provided in the email to input in the "Submit Verification Code" screen
• Select Verify Me > Continue.

• Click Log In and enter your UTD credentials to access the network.

• Keep the window open after entering your credentials as you browse online.
  Important: Open another tab to continue browsing. Do not close the window shown below.
  Clicking the back button will take you back to initiate the Login screen.
