You can identify if Read.ai has been enabled on your Teams application if Meeting Summaries from Read AI has been added to your Microsoft 365 apps dashboard, or if read.ai meeting notes (Unverified) has been invited to the Teams Meeting chat with the auto-generated message

Read.ai will then propagate to users across the organization by sending marketing emails to all attendees of Teams Meetings that Read.ai has been invited to.  If a user is directed to a Report Summary sent by Read.ai it will then attempt to create a fully active trial account using Single Sign On (SSO), in most cases this will be the Microsoft account credentials.

Once the trial account creation has been initiated Read.ai will then attempt to auto-join all future Teams Meetings and Microsoft Calendar events, and will join meetings regardless of whether the user joins the meeting or is even aware that Read.ai has been enabled.

If you notice that Read.ai has been invited to the chat please type Opt Out in the chat to delete the meeting data, and make note of the user attached to the service so that they may be directed to this article, or to contact their IT department.
