Summary
Custom Instructions are a set of guidelines established at the beginning of a conversation with CometAI to guide it's behavior. Establishing elements can determine the tone, style and structure to how CometAI responds to prompts.

Disclaimer:
In Dark Mode Theme, some users may experience visibility issues when selecting List of Custom Instructions, as certain options may appear in white and become unreadable. In this scenario, users can either hover over each custom instruction to make it visible or switch to Light Mode, where the options should display correctly. The Team is aware of this display issue and is working on getting it resolved soon.
Custom Instructions, are currently stored locally on the user’s browser/device, regardless of conversation storage or sync settings. As a result, these features do not automatically synchronize across different browsers or devices. If users want to reuse them when switching browsers or devices, they should save their custom instructions externally (for example, in a Word document) and recreate them as needed. This is a known issue, and the CometAI team is actively working to address it in a future release.
