CometAI Known Bugs & Issues
Below is the list of issues identified by the CometAI Platform Team and reported by initial testers.
Important: If your issue is already listed, please do not email us or create a Service request, as we are aware of it and are actively working on a resolution
List will be updated as issues are resolved or as new issues arise.
- Rate Limit feature functionality: The rate limiting feature does not function as expected, allowing users to exceed their designated chat limits. Hence, it is advised to not use this feature until further notice in Manage Accounts.
- University Branding: The platform's visual branding is being rolled out adhering to the university’s alignments.
- Enhancements are being made at certain places.
- CometAI Conversations, Prompt Templates, Custom Instructions, Follow‑up Buttons Access across Multiple Devices:
- Theses are currently stored locally on the user’s browser/device, regardless of conversation storage or sync settings. As a result, these features do not automatically synchronize across different browsers or devices.
- If users want to reuse them when switching browsers or devices, they should save their prompts, conversations and instructions externally (for example, in a Word document) and recreate them as needed.
- This is a known issue, and the CometAI team is actively working to address it in a future release.
- COA Billing Accounts:
- An issue has been identified where Chart of Accounts (COA) billing accounts are being charged twice for usage (one for general account and the other custom account). Hence, it is advised to not use this feature until further notice.
- Please adhere keeping your default account to general account like the below screenshot.
- Create PPT Template: The Platform Team is currently working to make this feature working to all users .
- Create Artifact:
- Artifacts are primarily supported by Claude models. Some other models may not fully or consistently support Artifacts.
- To ensure reliable Artifact functionality, it is recommended to use Claude models.
- If using other models, please keep the Artifacts setting disabled. For more info: How to Use Artifacts Feature in CometAI.
- Currently Artifact feature is kept OFF for internal testing and upgradation.
- HEIC File Upload: The platform currently does not support the uploading of “.heic” image files.
- Import/Export Conversations: The function and purpose of the Import/Export Conversations feature are not clear to users yet and needs to be more properly documented after researching more. Hence, it is advised to not use this feature until further notice.
- Connect to Other Data Sources: Currently, the platform is not able to connect with other data sources, such as M365 and Box. The team is currently working to ensure that this feature would be available in the future releases.
- TruncateFromEnd in Prompt Creation: The "TruncateFromEnd" option in prompt creation does not function during testing, resulting in prompts not being truncated as expected.
- Sharing Conversation: An issue exists with the feature for sharing conversations from the left-hand side menu panel. Hence it is advised to follow the knowledge base steps for sharing conversations.
- Sharing Artifacts: The artifact-sharing feature within the artifact window is currently non-functional, preventing users from sharing uploaded artifacts with others. Hence it is advised to follow the knowledge base steps for sharing conversations.
