Important Note: Android users DO have to install the Intune Company Portal app.
Important Note: Your NETID must be placed within the appropriate security group and given an InTune license to see the below actions.
- Whether you are already signed into a Microsoft 365 Office app or not, once you open the app, you will be asked to enter your work email and password.
- You will then be prompted to install the Microsoft Intune Company Portal app. Click on "Go To Store."
- Once the Android Play Store opens install the Intune Company Portal app.
- You do not need to sign into the Intune Company Portal app.
- It just needs to be installed on your Android phone.
- You will then get a notification that states, "Your organization protects data in this app. You might need to set some things up to access your work or school data."
- Click Continue.
- Enter your password again.
- You will then get a notification to register your device.
- Click Register.
- Access is granted to the app in which you are using.
- After every 60 minutes you will be asked to authenticate. You can use biometrics to bypass using the pin.
