Edit Office Documents in Box (Web)

Troubleshooting 

If you cannot edit an Office (Excel, Word, etc.) Online from Box, the file may be in an old format that does not work with the Online versions of Office (Ex: .xls instead of .xlsx or .doc instead of .docx).

In this case, do the following:

1. Download the file from Box and Save it in the new file format.
2. Go back to Box, open the file, and select More options > Upload New Version from the top right to replace the old file. 

3. Once this is done, you should be able to edit with the Online version of Office.
