This article provides information regarding installing GlobalProtect VPN on iOS mobile devices.

GlobalProtect on App Store.

  • Open the application, enter the portal address as utdvpn.utdallas.edu > Connect.

  • If prompted, Allow GlobalProtect to add VPN configurations to your device.

  • Sign in using your NetID and password > Login.

Note: If you are not already authenticated through Duo, you will be asked to do so via a push notification, text message or phone call. Visit KA 344 if you need information on enrolling in Duo.
  • After authenticating with Duo, you will be redirected to your default browser to open this page in GlobalProtect. Select Open.

  • Global Protect VPN will then show as "Connected".

GlobalProtect VPN is connected.

  • You can confirm you are connected in Settings > General > VPN & Device Management.
    • This will show the established connection.

PaloAlto GlobalProtect VPN
The GlobalProtect Virtual Private Network (VPN) provides secure access to restricted University data and resources using an off-campus computer through a secured Internet connection. In order to utilize VPN services, you must first be enrolled in Duo.
