How to Switch Microsoft Teams Viewing Options

Summary

This article provides the steps for switching Teams view. By default, your Teams will be in the Grid view, which shows all your teams in a grid where you select one team and have to go back to another grid to use another team. Alternatively, you can use the list view, which shows all your teams in a scrolling list you can click through.

Steps

  • Click on the New Teams tab on the left panel to bring up all the teams you are currently a part of.
  • Click on the Three dots (more options) from the top right and select Settings.

  • View the "Chats and channels" tab of Settings.
    • For the purpose of this article, under the Layout section, choose how you want to navigate between teams.
  • Select Grid to view your teams in a grid, or List to view them in a scrollable list.
