Installation of Code42 on UTD Computers using Software Center (Windows)

This article provides the steps to install Code42 on UTD computers using Software Center.

Explanation 

  • Select the Magnifying Glass icon in the lower-left corner of the taskbar.
    • Search for "Software Center", and Open the application.

  • In the Software Center, under Applications, locate and select Code42 Crashplan - 11.4.0 (x64).

            

Note: The version might change with time as it gets updated.
  • Click on "Install". After installing, locate the Crashplan application on your device, enter the information below, and select Continue.
    • Username: NetID@utdallas.edu
  • Enter your NetID and Password and click Login.

  • The backup will begin. The window will look similar to the image below.
