Purpose
This article has information to enable sharing permissions on a Mac computer for applications such as Teams.
Procedure
- Navigate to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy.
- To enable changes to settings, make sure the padlock in the bottom left corner of the window is unlocked(). If not, click on it to unlock it.
- Select Camera() and make sure that the check box is checked next to the application that you would like to give access to, such as Teams (as shown below).

- Next, choose Screen Recording and make sure that the check box is checked next to the application that you would like to give access to, such as Teams.

- Next, select Microphone and make sure that the check box is checked next to the application that you would like to give access to, such as Teams.

- Select Accessibility and make sure that the check box is checked next to the application that you would like to give access to, such as Teams.

- Click on the padlock()in the bottom left to lock it and prevent further changes.
- You will need to restart the applications whose access was changed.
- If screen recording does not work after this, return back to these settings to ensure that they went through. If they did, restart the computer and try again.
