Tile Contents of the Faculty Homepage in Galaxy

Purpose

This article provides quick details of tiles found in Galaxy for Faculty. 

Faculty Homepage Tile Contents

• Approvals tile – Dynamically shows the number of approvals needing immediate attention.

• Faculty Course Tools tile – Links to UTD websites for eLearning, Honorlock, OIT Teams Help. When you select Faculty Course Tools, it automatically opens the first tab into eLearning.

• UTD Faculty Center tile – Links to the Faculty Center and links within it.

• Search Classes and Catalog tile – Links to the Orion Class Search and Browse Course Catalog pages.

• Faculty Instructions and Info tile - Links to UTD websites enabling direct access to Registrar Intranet, OIT Teams Help, Center for Teaching & Learning, Undergraduate Catalog, and the Graduate Catalog. When you select Faculty Instructions and Info, it automatically opens the first tab on the Registrar Intranet.

• My UTD Communications tile -  provides a centralized view of official University and department communications. Users can review past messages with details including the sending department, subject, date sent, and a link to view each communication.
