Remove Saved Wi-Fi Networks (macOS)

Summary

This article provides instructions to remove the saved wireless network(s) on your apple device. It is a recommended troubleshooting step if you have trouble connecting to CometNet or another UTD wireless network.

Procedure

  • Click on the  Apple icon > System Preferences....

Apple menu contains System Settings listed as second option, top to bottom.

  • Select Wi-Fi from the left side panel.
    • Scroll to the very bottom of the list, then click the Advanced... button. 

Wi-Fi is the first option on the left side panel.

  • Select the [Network name] you want your device to forget.
  • Click the More options icon > Removed From List. 
    • When asked to confirm, click Remove. 
  • Once desired networks have been removed, select Done to apply the changes.
