Purpose

This article shows you how to add specific senders or entire domains to your Block or Allow lists in Outlook.

  • Emails from blocked senders or domains will be moved to your Junk email folder.
  • Emails from safe senders or domains will never be moved to your Junk email folder. 

Adding Senders/Domains

  • Navigate to Outlook and log in to your email.
  • Navigate to Settings icon in the upper right hand corner.
  • Click Mail > Junk Mail

Block  sender & domain
  • Under either Blocked senders and domains or Safe senders and domains, select + Add and enter the domain/sender that you would like to block.
    • Senders should be entered as email@example.com.
    • Domains should be entered as example.com.
  • You can edit or remove senders/domains using the icons to the right of the list entry.
