Orion Functions Error: "Web Login Service - Stale Request"

Follow this article if you are receiving an error "Web Login Service - Stale Request" when trying to access Orion functions in Galaxy Gemini.

Issue

Follow this procedure if you receive an error “Web Login Service - Stale Request” when accessing Orion functions within Galaxy.

Resolution

• Log in to Galaxy and navigate to the Gemini for Departments homepage.

• Click the Orion tile or Switch to Orion on the homepage.
  • A new tab will open- disable your browser’s pop-up blocker if it doesn’t. 
• The page will appear the same, but you will be in the Orion section of Galaxy.
  • You may now navigate to your requested Orion page or function, which should load as expected.
