How to Access Handshake

Purpose

This article outlines the process for current and former UTD students to log in to the Handshake portal.

Logging In

Current Students

1. Go to the Handshake portal.
2. Click on UT Dallas Student Login.
   
3. Login with your NetID and password.
   
4. Handshake will prompt for more information to set up a profile. Once this is complete, the account is active.

Former Students/Alumni

1. Go to the Handshake portal.
2. Click No account? Sign up here in the top right-hand corner.
3. Enter a personal email, not a UTD email.
   Note: The page will prompt you to enter a .edu email address. This is not necessary.
4. Fill in the personal information and submit.
5. Allow 3-5 business days for the UTD Career Center to approve the account.
   • An email is sent when it has been approved.
6. Once the account has been approved, go to the link in step 1 and press sign in with your email address, and enter the personal email address associated with the account.
7. Follow the steps to complete the creation of a new Handshake account.
