Procedure
- Click theWi-Fi symbol located on the right side of your Taskbar.
- Select theWi-Fi symbol again in the pane that opens.
- Select CometNet from the list of available networks.
- Enter the Network Settings as outlined in this article (and noted below).
- EAP method: PEAP
- (If asked) Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
- CA certificate: Use system certificates
- (If asked) Online Certificate Status: Do not verify
- Domain: utdallas.edu or CAMPUS
- Identity or Username: Your NetID
- If you face issues connecting with your NetID, please use your NetID@utdallas.edu.
- Password: Your NetID password
- You are now connected to CometNet!
Note: If you're running into issues connecting, try restarting the device once you've inputted the information above.
