Installing the UTD Inventory Management App

The UTD Inventory Management Application works on most iOS and Android devices with a camera. The app is required for scanning inventory; however, each individual must also have access to update inventory.

Introduction

The UTD Inventory Management Application works on most iOS and Android devices with a camera. The app is required for scanning inventory; however, each individual must also have access to update inventory. If a user does not have access to update inventory, the app will only show the current known location of a device. If you feel you should have access to update device locations but do not, please put in a General/Help service request with OIT TEI Desktop Support:

Apple Devices

On personal and university-owned devices, the UTD Inventory Management application can be downloaded directly from Apple's App Store from the following link, or by searching for "UTD Inventory Management:"

The app can also be deployed via Jamf to university owned devices specifically identified.
