Context

The Microsoft 365 Copilot App is an everyday AI productivity app for work or school. It helps Microsoft 365 users be more productive by providing a single place to access Microsoft 365 Copilot features and capabilities, including search, chat, agents, and more. Where to Access

Requirements

Active Faculty and Staff with an existing Copilot 365 license can use the Microsoft 365 Copilot Desktop application.

Note: There are multiple versions of the Copilot Desktop Application.

We suggest for you to Download Microsoft 365 Copilot App since it is compatible with UTD's license.

How to Install

Windows UTD Device

  • Select the Magnifying Glass icon.
    • Located towards the lower-left corner of the Task Bar.
  • Search for "Software Center".
  • Click Open once the application populates.

  • In the UT Dallas Software Center:
    • Locate and select the Microsoft 365 Copilot Installer from the "Applications" section.
  • Click Install.

  • Select the Magnifying Glass icon.
    • Located towards the lower-left corner of the task bar.
  • Search for "Copilot".
  • Click Open once the application populates.

  • Once the application opens:
    • Select Create or Sign in with a different account.

  • Sign in using your UTD Credentials.
  • Click Next when prompted.
