What Is It?

Microsoft 365 Copilot is an AI assistant built into Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 apps. You can use Copilot to:

  • Draft and refine documents, emails, and presentations
  • Summarize meetings, chats, and lengthy documents
  • Generate insights from data in Excel
  • Get suggestions and examples directly in the app you are already working in

Teams Premium is ideal for departments and individuals who regularly host large meetings, webinars, or require elevated security and AI-assisted productivity features.

Microsoft Teams Premium adds advanced meeting and webinar features on top of standard Teams. It is especially helpful if you:

  • Host large or important meetings, classes, or webinars.
  • Need AI‑generated meeting notes and recaps (Intelligent Recap).
  • Work with participants who speak different languages and need live translated captions.
  • Need advanced webinar tools such as registration pages and custom branding.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

Licenses for both M365 Copilot and Teams Premium can be purchased by faculty and staff. To request a quote for purchasing these tools:

  1. Click the Request Microsoft AI Tools Quote button on the right side of the page.
  2. Submit your request along with your specific business or academic requirements for review.

Where Can I Get It?

Once licenses are assigned:

  • M365 Copilot features will be available automatically within your existing Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Teams Premium features will be available automatically within your existing Microsoft Teams application.

How Much Does It Cost?

M365 Copilot is available at $174.96 per user, per year.

Teams Premium is available at $18.60 per user, per year.

Costs will be prorated based on the date the license is assigned.
