Requirements
Off Campus Requirements
If you are off campus, you will need to connect to the VPN before connecting remotely to your computer.
- Sign up for Duo, if you have not already.
- Connect to the VPN.
On Campus Requirements
If you are on campus and have a wired connection or connected to CometNet, you will not need to connect to the VPN.
Connecting
- Open Chrome.
- In the address bar at the top, enter
remotedesktop.google.com/access, and press Enter.
- Click Access to select which computer you want.
- Select Set up remote access to set up a device for the first time.
- Enter the PIN required to access another computer.
Additional Method
- Visit Google Play and search for "Remote Desktop- Microsoft Corporation."
- Select the proper download and click Install.
- Open the new app and click on the Plus sign icon (+) in the upper right hand corner, then select Desktop.
- Enter IP Address of the machine you would like to connect to.
- Open newly created connect and enter credentials using domain (i.e.: campus\abc123456).
