New Device Network Registration

This article provides information on how to register a device for Wired Campus Network Access.

Process

  • Wired network access at UTD requires your device's MAC address to be whitelisted.
    • If you do not know your MAC address, please use these articles to find it:
Note: MAC addresses can only be whitelisted for Staff, Faculty, Teaching Assistants, and Research Assistants.
  • After noting the MAC address, navigate to Request New Device Network Registration. 
  • Fill in the details and add the MAC address of your device to the 'Description' field.
  • Click on Request.
    • You will receive an email notifying when the ticket is updated. 

Request New Device Network Registration window with fields to enter additional contact, subject and description under the Atlas services portal.
