Locate MAC Address (Windows)

Process

• Open Command Prompt from the Windows Search bar.

• In the new window, type ipconfig/all next to Users > press Enter.

Wired Connection

There should be multiple adapters listed, but you should look for the Physical Address under Ethernet adapter Ethernet for a wired connection.

• The MAC address will be listed as the Physical Address. 
  • It will be in the format of xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx and include a mix of numbers and letters.

Wireless Connection

There should be multiple adapters listed, but you should look for the Physical Address under Wireless LAN adapter Wi-Fi for a wireless connection. 

• The MAC address will be listed as the Physical Address. 
  • ​​​​​​​It will be in the format of xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx and include a mix of numbers and letters
