Audio Program Resources
AHT has several Sound Booths, a Recording Studio, and Surround Playback Studio that are available to students in certain classes.
Sound Booths
Sound Booths are available to all students on a first-come first-serve basis and may be checked out at the AHT Service Center (ATC 2.302). During times of high demand, the technicians at the window may limit the amount of time a Sound Booth can be checked out for in order to ensure all students are able to access the resources.
Audio Studios
Both the Recording and Playback/ Surround Studios can only be booked through ticket reservations sent into techresources@utdallas.edu. Students wishing to check out either of these studios for use must be enrolled in sound classes.
Motion Capture Lab
The AHT Motion Capture Lab can be reserved by sending in a ticket to techresources@utdallas.edu with the requested date, start time, and end time of the desired reservation.
