CometAI follows a distinct model lifecycle for introducing new models and retiring existing ones. If you would like to recommend a new model or request that a model remain available for a longer period, please submit a ticket to the CometAI Team: CometAI General Request / Help

Master Deprecation Table

Critical Lifecycle Definitions

To ensure these tables are interpreted correctly, the following definitions apply:

• Legacy Date: The model should no longer be considered the default for new projects but remains accessible for CometAI users until the model’s End of Life.
• End of Life (EOL): The model is fully retired. Users will not have access to this Model ID in CometAI post the Removal date.

Notes on Deprecation

• Deprecated models may still appear in historical artifacts, saved assistants, or logs.
• Outputs generated using deprecated models remain valid but are no longer reproducible using the same model.
• Replacement models, when listed, indicate the closest supported alternative-not a guaranteed behavioral match.
