How to Troubleshoot the Giant SSH Errors

Purpose

This article proves the steps needed to troubleshoot Giant SSH errors.

Explanation 

Giant was updated in the winter of 2019. In some cases, if you were connecting to Giant before it was updated, you may have an old RSA auth error.

• If you get the error shown in the below screenshot, select Skip.

• If you get the error shown in the below screenshot, select Yes.

• Only if you are getting an RSA error in Giant, run the following command: ssh-keygen -R "giant.utdallas.edu".
