Purpose
This article guides you to install windows updates manually on UT Dallas Windows Computers.
Detailed Resolution
To see and install available updates, follow the instructions for your operating system:
Windows 10
- Select the Start
button.
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
Windows 11
- Select the Start button.
- Go to Settings > Windows Update.
- Once there, choose Check online for updates from Microsoft Update and install any available updates.
- If you do not see the option to "Check online", please restart your computer and try again.
- You may be prompted to restart your computer after the updates are installed.
- Please repeat this process until no remaining updates are available.
