Explanation
This article has information about the main Self Service functions in the new Galaxy Fluid. Most pages may look and feel slightly different but have not fundamentally changed.
Gemini for Departments – Homepage
Navigate to Gemini, and log in with your NetID credentials. If your default landing page is not Gemini for Departments, please click the down arrow on the top of the page name, select the correct homepage, and click the Self Service tile.
Self Service Tile
The Self Service tile houses additional tiles. These are briefly discussed below.
Benefits Summary
- The "Benefits Summary" houses mandatory and voluntary retirement participation information.
- You can see the information in tile view (as above), or you can change it to a listing grid – click the button displayed right below the word "Benefit Plans".
My UT Benefits
- "My UT Benefits" tile links to our 3rd party enrollment platform for insurance plans, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and flexible spending.
- The tile takes you to the login page below. Choose The University of Texas at Dallas to log in via SSO.
ACA Form 1095-C
- This tile shows Annual tax form for those who are/were a full-time staff during any part of the current year or enrolled in a University employee health plan (UT Select or UT Connect)
Note: Please only select the “current” year for review. Do not select prior years. Contact benefits@utdallas.edu for assistance with previous year forms.
Employee Tuition Assistance
- This tile is useful for applying for the employee tuition assistance program for full time staff.
- Click Add a New Value tab to access the form.
- The page defaults to Form, but it is best to click on the Instructions tab before completing the form.
UT Retirement Manager
- The tile enables enrollments and changes in any voluntary savings plans: 403b/TSA, Roth 403b, or 457b/DCP. It also allows initial enrollment and carrier changes for those eligible to participate in ORP instead of TRS.
- Clicking this tile will open a new login page.
My Parking
- This tile helps you pay citations and register for parking permits.
Personal Details
- Update addresses, phone numbers, emergency contacts, and disability and veteran status, among other attributes using this tile.
LEO (Learning & Education Organizer)
- Find training classes hosted by HR and other campus departments in person and Live Online Training by clicking on this tile.
Payroll and Compensation
- This tile helps you view paychecks, enroll/update direct deposit information, update W4 information, consent to receive and view W2s annually.
