Secure Shell (SSH)

What Is It?

SSH (Secure Shell Protocol) allows a secure connection to remote servers and provides you with a command-line interface at that server. SSH generally requires a VPN connection, except for PubSSH, which does not require VPN but is protected by Duo.

SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol) is an encrypted file transfer method used to move files between your local computer and a file server.
