What Is It?

Research data storage at UTD is the organization, documentation, storage, and preservation of data resulting from the research process, where data can be broadly defined as the outcome of research, experiments or observations that validate assumptions, claims, and/or findings.

Users of UTD Storage resources are expected to be good stewards of data who are personally responsible for their conduct and behavior in the use of such resources.

Who Is Eligible to Use It?

Sponsored by faculty with research expectations. Available for collaboration with staff and/or students.

How Much Does It Cost?

ORI-sponsored allocation to faculty with research expectations in support of research activities. 

In use cases exceeding the ORI-sponsored allocation, cost based on usage may be recovered pending approval from faculty sponsor.
