CometAI makes it easy to collaborate by letting you share conversations, prompts, and assistants with other users on the platform. Open the Share Panel.
- Log in to the Comet AI platform using your UTD Credentials.
- Click on the User Menu on the top-right corner
- Click on the Sharing icon on the dropdown menu to open the Sharing Center
- Click on the Share with Others button
- Select People.
- Enter the UTD NetID Email(s) of the user(s) you wish to share with.
Important: The receiving user must have access to CometAI Platform to receive your shared conversation.
Use the "#" symbol to automatically include all members of the group.
Use the "@" symbol to list your API created system users.
This functionality is currently being tested internally & hence users are requested to be refrained to share conversations via "@" or "#". Please share conversations only with other users.
- Add a Note (Required) describing what you share and why.
- Select Items to share by choosing one or more of the following:
- Prompts (Assistants, Helpers, Custom Instructions or Templates)
- Conversations
- Artifacts
- Or Folders
- Click Share.
- The selected user(s) will now have access to shared content.
- While viewing any Conversation, click the Share icon located at the top of the window.
- Similar to the Share Tab instructions- Add Recipients, a Note and select your Items.
- Click Share.
Note: The conversation from which you initiated the share activity will have already been selected.
- Select the | ->Map to icon to open side panel.
- Click the Share icon to initiate the same sharing process.
- Similar to the Share Tab instructions- Add Recipients, a Note and select your Items.
- Click Share.

At first, create a simple Artifact and click on the Share-icon on the Right Hand Artifact menu

The Share-icon will open a Send CometAI Artifact window

Add the username or email of the recipient and click on the Share button
Shared items do not appear automatically in your workspace. You must import them to begin using or editing.

Go to the User Menu on the top right corner

Go to Sharing option in the dropdown menu

Open the Sharing Center and access the shared items from other users
- Select an Item and click Accept Items.
- The item will appear in the appropriate section of your workspace:
- Conversations in the chat list
- Or Prompts/RAG Assistants/Artifacts in their respective panels
Note: If you do not see an item that was shared with you, the sender may not have shared it correctly.
Confirm that they used your correct UTD NetID email address.
- Use a clear and descriptive note to help recipients understand your intent.
- Only share it with people who you really want to give access to.
- Users can access query files attached to RAG models that have been shared with them
- Organize content into folders before sharing for easier navigation.
