This workflow explains how OIT work requests are assessed, routed, prioritized, delivered, and reported. Use this page to understand where your request is in the process and what outcomes to expect at each stage.

- Work request received
- Customer collaboration & work understanding (clarify goals, outcomes, stakeholders)
- Solution collaboration (create milestone/WBS preview: scope, timeline, budget, risks, dependencies)
- TAG Preview (initial technical solution review by OIT SME's checkpoint)
- Decision point: does it meet Operational Criteria or Project Criteria?
- If Operational Criteria: OIT Ops Team completes the work.
- If Project Criteria: request proceeds for full assessment/scoring.
- OIT PMO reviews prioritized pipeline report based on assessment score (assessment results)
- Information Technology Portfolio Governance (ITPG) (governance checkpoint)
- Decision: Approved vs Not Approved
- If Approved: prioritized with the current work pipeline.
- If Not Approved: routed to Ops Delivery.
Outcome: Customer is notified of status.
- OIT PMO framework (delivery approach defined)
- Plan (scope, schedule, stakeholders, risks, communications)
- Execute (build/deliver, manage changes, track progress)
- Customer delivery agreement (acceptance & handoff)
- Close (final documentation, outcomes, lessons learned)
- ITPMO Status Reporting – Twice monthly OIT Leadership review of PMO portolio projects for status and value decision making
- Information Technology Portfolio Governance (ITPG) Monthly Portfolio Review of new requests - Prioritization Report
