Instructions
Open your
browser
of choice (Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc.) and navigate to "Log In to the Network" page.
Sign in using your UTD credentials (NetID and password).
Select
Confirm
for the "ForeScout Compliance Test."
Note:
Confirming will start the download.
The download will automatically begin.
Open the
file
once your download is complete.
Select
Run
on the pop-up window.
You will then see a confirmation screen regarding the registration.
Open a
separate tab
and navigate to any website.
If you need to connect to "University Network Resources," the
Secure Connect
agent will show if your machine is
compliant
or
not
by the below screen.
If the machine is
Not Compliant
, you will still have access to the Internet in order to update your machine.
After
updating
your device,
search
for the "Forescout Compliance Center" in your device.
Right-click on the
Forescout icon
and select
View Compliance Center
.
Click
Recheck
to re-evaluate your machine.
When your machine meets compliance, you will then have access to
University Network Resources
.
