Objective
A Box share can be created so that multiple users can collaborate in a shared Box environment without a specific individual creating and owning the shared folder. This allows the share and the files in it to persist even if the creator leaves UTD. Box has a file size limitation of 50GB per file, but overall storage is unlimited. To request a new Box share, please follow the steps below.
Procedure
Step 1 - Navigate to Service
Please follow this link to the service page for Box.
Step 2 - Request New Box Share
Request the creation of a new Box share by selecting Request New Box Share from the options on the right. Fill out the required details and a technician will reach out once the Box share has been created.
Note: The Box share will show up in the main Box directory of the requesting user(s) once it has been created.
