Allow All Cookies in Chrome

Purpose 

Some web apps may have issues if your browser blocks them from storing certain browser cookies. As a troubleshooting step, try setting your browser to allow cookies from all sources using these instructions.

Explanation

  • Open your browser settings by clicking the Menu button  at the top-right and choosing Settings.

  • First, make sure that you disable any browser plug-ins such as ad blockers that may be blocking cookies.
  • In Chrome, you can disable plug-ins by clicking Extensions on the left and toggling the plug-in off .

  • Next, turn the browser's built-in content blocker off by opening the Third-Party Cookies section under Privacy and security tab under Settings menu.
  • Change the setting to Allow third-party cookies.

  • Now try accessing the web app again. If it works, then you can add the site to your browser's whitelist by going back to the cookies section of settings and clicking Add next to "Sites that can always use cookies".
  • If the web app still does not work, then be sure to re-enable your plug-ins and revert the cookies settings back to what they were before you continue troubleshooting.
