Connecting to CometNet (Android)

Purpose

This article shows you how to connect to CometNet using your Android device. 

Steps

1. Open the Settings menu and select Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
2. Select CometNet from the list of available networks.
3. Enter the details listed below and select Connect.
   • EAP method: PEAP
   • (If asked) Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
   • CA certificate: Use system certificates
   • (If asked) Online Certificate Status: Do not verify
   • Domain: utdallas.edu
   • Identity or Username: Your NetID
     • If you face issues connecting with your NetID, please use your NetID@utdallas.edu.
   • Password: Your NetID password

4. You are now connected to CometNet.
