To install MATLAB on a personal computer, Mathworks accounts must be set up.
MATLAB may notify you that your license will expire after a certain number of days. This message refers to the university-wide license that is updated once per year. When it is updated, you may need to run an installer to ensure the updated license is applied to your installation. Please see the TAG ANCHOR section of this knowledge article for instructions on applying license updates.
Please note that this only applies to MATLAB installations on personal devices; license updates are applied automatically to UTD machines.
