Directory Manager

Explanation

The Directory Manager tool is available for approved department users to update directory information for users in that department. To access the directory manager tool, ensure you are connected to a campus internet connection such as CometNet or connected to the UTD VPN, then access the Directory Manager tool.

Request Access to Directory Manager

If you do not have access to Directory Manager, the tool will show you who in your department has access. To change access to Directory Manager, an eCAT should be submitted following the instructions below:

  1. Log into eCAT.
  2. Under Manage Access Roles click on the Request Access to eCAT & Directory Manager option.
  3. If needing access to the Directory Manager:
    • Fill in the section for Directory Manager.
    • Select Primary or Secondary.
    • Check who in the department has access.
  4. Click Submit.
Note: The user should connect to GlobalProtect VPN if working remotely.
