How to Access Handshake

Purpose

This article outlines the process for current and former UTD students to log in to the Handshake portal.

Logging In

Current Students

• Go to the Handshake portal.
• Click on UT Dallas Student Login.

• Login with your NetID and password.

• Handshake will prompt for more information to set up a profile. Once this is complete, the account is active.

Former Students/Alumni

• Go to the Handshake portal.
• Click No account? Sign up here in the top right-hand corner.
• Enter a personal email, not a UTD email.

• Fill in the personal information and submit.
• Allow 3-5 business days for the UTD Career Center to approve the account.
  • An email is sent when it has been approved.
• Once the account has been approved, go to the link in step 1 and press sign in with your email address, and enter the personal email address associated with the account.
• Follow the steps to complete the creation of a new Handshake account.
