Connecting to CometNet (ChromeOS)

Procedure

  • Click theWi-Fi symbol located on the right side of your Taskbar.
  • Select theWi-Fi symbol again in the pane that opens.

  • Select CometNet from the list of available networks.

  • Enter the Network Settings as outlined in this article (and noted below).
    • EAP method: PEAP
    • (If asked) Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
    • CA certificate: Use system certificates
    • (If asked) Online Certificate Status: Do not verify
    • Domain: utdallas.edu or CAMPUS
    • Identity or Username: Your NetID
      • If you face issues connecting with your NetID, please use your NetID@utdallas.edu.
    • Password: Your NetID password
