What Is It?

UT Dallas Cloud Services offer managed resources such as servers, storage, and databases through Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. These services help host websites, run applications, and store data, while meeting University and state standards. All charges for cloud hosting are consumption based and will be billed back to the provided cost centers.

Use the Request Cloud Hosting form to begin the cloud environment provisioning process and get access to cloud hosting services.

  • Requests for Consultations, Access Changes, Account Closures and General Inquiries can be made on this page. Read more about what's required for each service.
  • The requestor must agree and comply with all standards, guidelines, and procedures set up by the University and the Office of Information Technology. Review hosting attestations.
  • Charges incurred to accounts vary based on user consumption. Invoice amounts are billed back to the requestor’s provided cost centers and are the sole responsibility of the requestor & their department(s).

How Much Does It Cost?

Costs are consumption-based and billed to departmental cost centers. The final invoice amount billed varies based on service pricing, metered account usage, and institutional financial agreements.
