This article serves as the authoritative source for the lifecycle status of AI models within the CometAI platform. It provides a roadmap of upcoming service changes-including End-of-Life (EOL) dates-and a historical archive of retired models.

CometAI follows a distinct model lifecycle for introducing new models and retiring existing ones. If you would like to recommend a new model or request that a model remain available for a longer period, please submit a ticket to the CometAI Team: CometAI: General Request / Help

Users should reference this page periodically to identify upcoming model retirements to ensure business continuity.

Please review the below Model Deprecation List  to update any workflows, API calls, custom agents, prompts, or integrations that rely on these models (Status: EOL or Legacy) before the retirement date.

Replacement models for UT Aspire will be communicated based on guidance and information provided by the Aspire team.

Critical Lifecycle Definitions

To ensure these tables are interpreted correctly, the following definitions apply:

• Legacy: The model should no longer be considered the default for new projects/assistants but remains accessible for CometAI users until the model’s End of Life.
• End of Life (EOL): The model is fully retired from CometAI. Users will not have access to this Model ID in CometAI post the Removal date. API calls to these models will receive an error. 

Notes on Deprecation

• Deprecated models may still appear in historical artifacts, saved assistants, or logs.
• Outputs generated using deprecated models remain valid but are no longer reproducible using the same model.
• Replacement models, when listed, indicate the closest supported alternative-not a guaranteed behavioral match.
