How to Pin Apps on Microsoft Teams Client

Pin an App

  • Open Teams > More Options icon (...) in the sidebar.
  • Use the Search bar to find the application you are looking for or go to More apps.

  • Find the app you wish to pin, right-click on it, and select Pin.

  • The app will now be pinned to the sidebar.
  • You can click and drag to rearrange your sidebar applications as you wish.

Unpin an App

Note: unpinning does not uninstall the app, it only removes it from the sidebar.
  • Open Microsoft Teams.
  • Locate the app you want to unpin in the left-side navigation bar (sidebar).

  • Right-click the app’s icon.
  • A context menu will appear, select Unpin.
  • The app will be immediately removed from the sidebar.
