Each UTD email account inbox has two email addresses associated with it. The primary address, also known as the PEA, is a personalized email address usually in the form of firstname.lastname@utdallas.edu. The secondary address uses the more generic NetID in the form of NetID@utdallas.edu. Both of these addresses go to the same inbox.
By default, outgoing emails sent outside UT Dallas will use the PEA email address in the "From" field. If you would like to change your primary address to another name or remove the PEA from your account, please submit this form.
Note: If you are making a change to your email address because of a legal name change, it is recommended that the legal name change is completed first. Read more about name changes.
