Quinncia can be accessed using this URL: Quinncia Dashboard and by signing in using UTD credentials.

1. Resume Analysis

Overview:

  • Quinncia provides detailed feedback and scoring on uploaded resumes, allowing students to identify areas for improvement and optimize their content.

Scoring System:

  • Resume scores are benchmarked against top-performing students at UT Dallas.

Score Breakdown:

  • Gold Badge: Scores within 10% of the top score.
  • Silver Badge: Next 40% of scores.
  • Bronze Badge: Bottom 50% of scores.

Improvement Tracking:

  • The platform visually tracks score progress, showing incremental improvements for each resume upload.
  • Flags and improvement suggestions are tailored to the student’s industry and career goals.
  • Quinncia will soon introduce a new feature allowing students to upload their resumes in DOCX format for analysis. (Right now, in development as of Dec 2024) 

2. Mock Interviews

Feature:

  • Quinncia offers AI-driven video interview simulations to help students practice and refine their interview skills.

How to Schedule:

  • Use the “Schedule Your Interview” section on the dashboard.
  • Pick a date and time that suits you.
  • At your scheduled time, log in to your Quinncia account. You will then have a virtual interview with the AI interviewer at the same time you scheduled and can take the interview using the same link within 48 hours of scheduled time.
  • Study the feedback provided by the AI and work on addressing the highlighted areas for improvement. Schedule your next mock interview to practice and refine your skills.
  • Track your progress over time as you complete multiple AI interviews.

3. LinkedIn Profile Analysis

  • The example screenshot shows a LinkedIn Score of 50, categorized with a silver badge.
  • Analysis tracks changes and improvements over time.

Customization:

  • Students can upload their LinkedIn data in various formats (e.g., PDF/ using Quinncia LinkedIn extension).

4. Profile Completion

Importance:

  • Completing the Quinncia profile is essential for making it visible to potential recruiters or sharing it with external parties.

Completion Tasks:

  • Fill in profile summary, LinkedIn details, location, and upload a resume and a profile picture.
  • Complete mock interviews to enable sharing options.

5. Resume Templates

Access Templates:

  • Use the "Download Resume Template" option to access professionally designed resume formats.
  • These resume templates are officially approved by the Jindal School of Management (JSOM) and can be used by UTD students across different educational levels, including undergraduate, graduate, and professional MBA programs to ensure consistency and professionalism in their job applications.
  • Non-JSOM students can also refer to alternative resume samples tailored to their specific majors and career path.

Quinncia is fully ADA-compliant and supports screen readers, ensuring equal access for users with disabilities.

Q: How are resume scores calculated?

Scores are relative to the highest-scoring resume in a division. Students are awarded badges based on proximity to the top score.

Q: Why is my resume score capped despite addressing flags?

Scores are based on content quality and experience level. Limited experience may result in lower scores even if all flags are addressed.

Q: Can I access older resume analyses?

No, only the latest resume, interview, and LinkedIn analyses are stored. There is no time limit for when you can access the latest analysis. The student's accounts are only archived 6 months after graduation.

Q: Who can view my data?

Only career advisors or instructors at UT Dallas can access your analyses upon sharing the profiles.

Q: What is the average resume score at UTD?

Average resume score at UTD is 225.

Q: How can I share my profile?

Complete all aspects of your profile, including mock interviews, to enable profile sharing via a direct link.

Q: Are there templates or guidelines for LinkedIn profiles?

No templates are provided, but Quinncia follows LinkedIn’s best practices for analysis.

Q: Will my friends be able to access my resume and points?

Your friends cannot access your resume and points unless you share the profile yourself after completing the profile.
