Quinncia and GrammarlyEDU (JSOM- Only Services)

Purpose

This article details troubleshooting steps for JSOM Quinncia and Grammarly EDU services. These services are only available to JSOM students, faculty, and staff.

Troubleshooting

Access Groups

Users must be in one of the following AD security groups to access the JSOM-only services.

  • smGpJSOMStudents
  • smgpfaculty
  • smGpJSOMStaff

Login Issues

If a user receives the following login errors, they are not a member of the correct security groups.

  • Quinncia: {"success":false,"message":"InvalidBodyError: SSO_PROFILE_SIGN_UP_NOT_ALLOWED"}
  • Grammarly: Error detected Unable to validate assertion: email must be a well-formed email address. Please contact your admin to confirm your identity provider attribute mapping configuration.

Support Issues

OIT and JSOM Technicians do not provide support for Quinncia or Grammarly. For non-login issues, please contact Quinncia or Grammarly directly for help. If unable to receive support from the vendor, contact bcom@utdallas.edu.
