Transfer Ownership of Microsoft Forms Account

Purpose

A user would like to transfer the ownership of their form to a group. This can be useful if a user is leaving the university and access to the form is still needed by others.

Process

If you have created a survey, quiz, or poll, you can easily move it to a group so everyone in your group becomes owner of that form. To transfer ownership, do the following:

  1. In your web browser, go to Forms and select My Forms.

  1. On the "My forms" tab, find the form you want to transfer.
  2. Click More options (...).

Note: You can only move the form if you're the owner of that form. You may not transfer the ownership of a form that is shared with you.
  1. List of groups to which the form can be moved with move button at bottom right corner
  2. The form you moved will appear in the Shared with me tab after selecting the group.
