Current Issues and Bugs in CometAI Platform

Below is the list of issues identified by the Development Team and reported by initial testers. If your issue is already listed, please do not email us, as we are aware of it and are actively working on a resolution (This article will be updated as issues are resolved or as new issues arise). 

  • Global Rate Limit feature functionality: The rate limiting feature does not function as expected, allowing users to exceed their designated chat limits. Hence, it is advised to not use this feature until further notice. 

  • University Branding: The platform's visual branding is being rolled out adhering to the university’s alignments. Enhancements are being made at certain places.  

  • Underlying LLM API Access: There is no API access to the platform's various underlying Language Models. 

  • COA Billing Accounts: An issue has been identified where Chart of Accounts (COA) billing accounts are being charged twice for usage (one for general account and the other custom account). Hence, it is advised to not use this feature until further notice. Please adhere keeping the default account to general account. 

  • RAG on CSV/XLSX Files: The platform's conversing by uploading a document feature has an issue with accuracy of results when used with large CSV or XLSX files. 

  • Create PPT Template: The platform does not have the capability to create PPT correctly. 

  • HEIC File Upload: The platform currently does not support the uploading of .heic image files. 

  • Inconsistent Dark Theme: The dark theme styling in the "Custom Instructions" dropdown is inconsistent with the rest of the platform. 

  • Token Output Button: An issue has been identified with the Token Output Button for OpenAI Models. 

  • Import/Export Conversations: The function and purpose of the Import/Export Conversations feature are not clear to users yet and needs to be more properly documented after researching more. 

  • Sharing Conversation: An issue exists with the feature for sharing conversations from the left-hand side menu panel. 

  • Add Azure Models: The platform currently lacks the ability to add and utilize models from Microsoft Azure like Grok and Phi, etc. 

  • Add Gemini Models: The platform currently lacks the ability to add and utilize Gemini Models.  

  • Connect to Other Data Sources: The platform is not able to connect with other data sources, such as M365 and Box. 

  • TruncateFromEnd in Prompt Creation: The "TruncateFromEnd" option in prompt creation does not function during testing, resulting in prompts not being truncated as expected. 

  • Sharing Artifacts: The artifact-sharing feature is currently non-functional, preventing users from sharing uploaded artifacts with others. 

  • Files Tab Scrollbar Limitation: In the "Files" tab within the chat window, the scrollbar does not allow the last uploaded file to be fully visible once more than four files are uploaded. 

  • Add "o4 Mini" to OpenAI Model List: There is an issue where users can still access and chat using o4-mini from the available models list in chat interface even after disabling OpenAI models in settings.
