Who is Eligible to Use it?

Microsoft Copilot Chat is available at no cost to all UTD faculty, staff, and students. Built into Microsoft Applications, it is accessible through both desktop and web versions, making it easy to use wherever you work. Copilot Chat offers AI-powered support by referencing public web data and your open documents to deliver relevant, contextual responses.

You can also use metered AI agents for basic automation and helping to streamline repetitive tasks. This tool is built into Microsoft apps and is accessible via both desktop and web platforms. With Copilot Chat you get faster answers, smarter assistance, and more time to focus on what matters.

How to Access it

To access Copilot Chat in any Microsoft Application, select the Copilot icon in the Ribbon located in the Home Tab. Then a Copilot Chat pane will appear on the right side.

How to Use it

Excel
